Carolina Fall Classic

Congratulations to Maya Stessin and Whiz Bang Spark who were Reserve Champions both days at the Carolina Fall Classic in the Limited Open! Chapman Reining Horses would also like to congratulate Martin Audet and Chic with Chex on being Co-Champions in the Intermediate Open division.

 

ABI Futurity

Chapman Reining Horses would like to congratulate Craig Stonesifer and his horse Choc Full of Pep. The team won the Level 2 and Level 3 divisions of the ABI Non-Pro Futurity held in Williamston, NC October 26th! The pair earned $2,400 for their efforts.

 

 

VRHA State Fair

Chapman Reining Horses would like to congratulate Becky McCabe on Red Roan Cowgirl and Whizzen Footwork for her fantastic showing at the Virginia State Fair! Becky won  the first day on Whizzen Footwork and was second on Red Roan Cowgirl, then reversed the order on the second day! Becky was also High Point for the weekend on Whizzen Footwork. Thanks to Denise Robinson for the photo contributions!

 

EPRHA Reining Thunder Champs

EPRHA Reining Thunder Maya and MartinChapman’s Champions do it again! Martin Audet won the Intermediate Open Affiliate Championship as well as the Intermediate Open ancillary class on Chic with Chex, owned by Donald Burgy. This team was also 3rd in the Open Affiliate Championships. Maya Stessin won the Limited Open Affiliate and Ancillary Championship on GT the Geym Cutter, owned by Wendy Vornholt Peterson. Maya was also Reserve Champion on Whiz Bang Spark, owned by Donald Burgy and third on Whizzen Footwork, owned by Becky McCabe.

Chapman Reining Hosts MD 4-H Horse Jamboree Field Trip

Chapman Reining Horses was happy to host over 100 Maryland 4-Her’s and volunteers as part of the 2013 Maryland 4-H Horse Jamboree on July 12. The 4-Her’s learned about reining maneuvers, scoring, tack, and training techniques from our assistant trainers Zack Petroski and Megan Freemantle. Ya’ll come back and ride with us sometime!

Youth Rider Sweeps VRHA Memorial Day Classic!

Chapman Reining Horses would like to congratulate Rebecca McCabe on her first/second place finish in the 14-18 Youth division aboard Whizzen Footwork and Red Roan Cowgirl, respectively! This is the youth rider to beat!
