Join us on March 14, 2015 for a reining clinic at Rising Star Farm! Learn how to improve your skills and performance with us! Any level rider is welcome!

Our clinicians include Dutch Chapman (2x NRHA World Champion, 2013 VRHA Professional of the Year, and coach/trainer to over 65 NRHA Champions), Missy Makela (NRHA World Champion, NRHA Top Ten, and All American Quarter Horse Top Ten), and Amanda Yarbrough (NRHA Level 1 Open Futurity Finalist, 2x NRHA Top Ten, and NAAC Reserve Champion).

Lunch provided!
Cost: $150 per horse/rider or $25 to audit
Limited to 10 horse/rider combinations

Chapman Reining Horses would like to congratulate trainer Breann Huyett and Fancy Dual Train for winning the NRHA and Affiliate Rookie Pro and the NRHA and Affiliate Limited Open. Breann also won the Green Horse Division on Spooks Miss Shine. Chapman Reining Horses would also like to congratulate Missy Makela and KR Hickory Hurricane for winning the NRHA Intermediate Open! Missy also rode Conquista Annie to Reserve Champion in the NRHA level 2 Open Futurity. Nice job ladies!

Congratulations to Craig Stonesifer and Diamond B Gun for winning both days of the Novice Horse Non Pro Level II at the Ruben Rose Pink Ribbon Reining in Sorel, Tracy Canada this July. Craig also rode Boom Chugalugga Boom there for a 6th place finish in the level 2, 3, & 4 Non Pro Futurity. Way to go!!!

2013 World Champions at the NRHA Awards Banquet

Chapman Reining Horses would like to congratulate their 2013 NRHA World Champions, pictured here at the awards banquet in Oklahoma City!  Congratulations to Martin Audet on Chic with Chex (Intermediate Open division – 1st place), Mellisa Makela on Einstein Revenge (Rookie Professional division – 1st place), and Maya Stessin on Found by Mistress (3rd) and Chic with Chex (7th) in the Limited Open division.

Welcome trainer Mandy Yarbrough!

Chapman Reining Horses would like to welcome new trainer Mandy Yarbrough to the farm! Mandy is a graduate of Sul Ross State University in Alpine, Texas with a degree of equine management, specializing in reproduction. Mandy was introduced to reining while working for Joe Hayes, AQHA and NRHA Judge and trainer located in Gainesville, Texas. She most recently worked for Dean Brown at Santa Hill Ranch in Campbell Hall, New York where she successfully showed horses in the Rookie Professional and Limited Open divisions. Green Reiner sweep at the VRHA Memorial Day Classic

Chapman Reining Horses would like to congratulate Dana Grafft on Commandalena for their wins in the Green Reiner classes at the Virginia Reining Horse Association Memorial Day Classic May 23-25! Dana and Commandalena are having a spectacular show season so far, with 2 High Point Champion belt buckles, 11 wins, and 3 seconds, all in only 2 NRHA-sanctioned horse shows!!
