Florida Reining Classic Champions!

Chapman Reining Horses would like to congratulate Tammy Scott and Skeets Nifty aka “Big Skeets” on being the High Point Champion Limited Nonpro and winning over $1,800 at the Florida Reining Classic! This is not Tammy’s first time with Chapman Reining Horses; as a youth rider she claimed the 1996 NRHA Youth 13 and Under World Championship, as well as winning the 13 and Under Championship at the All American Quarter Horse Congress. She went on the be in the Limited Nonpro Top Ten. Tammy then took some time off, met and married her husband Rocky and had a son Nate. Chic with Chex returns with a bang!

Chapman Reining Horses would like to congratulate trainer Martin Audet and Chic With Chex on being the Level 2, 7 Up Champion as well as the Intermediate Open Champion at the Florida Reining Classic February 19-24th! Chic with Chex (aka Sammy), owned by Donald and Evelyn Burgy, is a PRIME example of the longevity that comes from the Chapman Reining Horses program. Originally trained by Chapman Reining Horses, Sammy was sold to Nonpro rider Donald Burgy as a late four year old. Don and Sammy showed for several years in the Limited Nonpro division. At  age nine, Sammy was bred to Lil Ruf Rider and produced an outstanding colt prospect.  This spring she has returned to the showpen strong and happy with assistant trainer Martin Audet. Look for Sammy this year and her colt in the years to come!
